Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, date of birth, or other term entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Pike County Warrant Records does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained long enough to review and answer it. Such messages are kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive routine technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help measure aggregate use, such as popular pages and where visits end. Analytics providers assist with that measurement. A browser can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some site functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Warrant Data on File
Pike County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. It provides general directions to Indiana MyCase, the Pike Circuit Court Clerk, and the Pike County Sheriff. MyCase is a public case-search lead, not a statewide warrant-status database. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or dossiers about other people, and this resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices. Review those terms before entering personal information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Pike County offices, Indiana court resources, legal services, and outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read that policy before providing personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, however, so Pike County Warrant Records cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If information from a minor is identified, a request may be made for its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary with the law that applies to a visitor. The Indiana Access to Public Records Act, IC 5-14-3, and the Indiana Rules on Access to Court Records govern access to government and court records, not private visitor data held here. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. Any revision will be posted here with a new effective date, so visitors can review the current data practices.
